NOTE FOR THE PRESS, in connection with the statements made by JBS

• The legal regulations on the requisites of eligibility of the directors of an Italian public company are more than clear: certainly they could be confirmed in any venue, including judicial, and they have already been confirmed by the authorised administrative offices: from the Parma Register of Companies to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs itself.

• By invoking and wishing for the legal liquidation of InalcaJBS, JBS once again provides proof of an obstinate and malevolent wish to shower discredit on InalcaJBS by disrupting the business for the sole purpose of destroying an Italian organisation with almost fifty years of history behind it, over 4,000 associates and a well-rooted presence and leadership in those markets (Europe, Africa and Russia) in which JBS has never been successful in consolidating its presence.

The commitment of the InalcaJBS employees and of its management is the best response to those who, day after day, are working against the interest of the company.
