INALCA REPORTS JBS FOR DEFAMATION AND MARKET RIGGING

The Chief Executive Officers of Inalca JBS, following conduct that is seriously detrimental to the corporate image and impacting on the normal financial management thereof, have today presented a statement/complaint to the Modena Public prosecutor's office reserving the right to constitution of a civil suit with the established procedure.

The statement refers to series of communications (via letter, fax, e-mail, and also in person) addressed to various branches of the principal Modena Banks between 2 and 5 august 2010.

Specifically, mainly the offences mentioned in art. 513 of the italian Penal Code (Disruption of the Freedom of Industry or Commerce), art. 595 of the Penal Code (Defamation) and art. 501 Penal Code (Market Rigging) are considered as configurable.
