INALCABS CONFIRMS ITS OWN BUSINESS REGULARITY AND CHARGE JBS FOR PERSISTING ON DISREPUTING AND DISTURBING

JBS set about a press release on Mr. Marco Bicchieri's today's declarations granted during a board meeting presided over himself. Mr. Bicchieri's would have disclosed that he "received some documents" that "apparently show" irregularities on the approval procedures related to the identification of bovine meat.

With reference to the above, Cremonini states the follows.

InalcaJBS confirms that the competent authorities have been verified traceability systems. InalcaJBS has already given, and is available to give additional information in the future to the competent authorities, in order to demonstrate the regularity of its own procedures.

Mr. Marco Bicchieri does not cover any position in InalcaJBS; in fact, Mr. Bicchieri was not eligible and has been divested from the office on September the 15th 2010. As evidenced on the Chamber of Commerce certificate, on the same date, Mr. De Assis and Texeira have been dismissed for the same reason.

Furthermore, Mr. Bicchieri is not qualified in order to judge InalcaJBS status or businesses. In fact, on august the 14th 2010, has been brought an action to the "Procura della Repubblica of Modena", through which the competent authority has been asked to ascertain whether - because of the severe behaviour held by Mr. Bicchieri together with few more JBS representatives - the crime of manipulation of the market and some more crimes took place or not.

It is Cremonini interest to clarify not only the content of Mr. Bicchieri's statement of complaint as soon as possible, but also to make things clear about all the Information Technology--s violations and manipulations, in the light of a possible (but not unlikely) connection between the two.

Yesterday JBS invoked for InalcaJBS compulsory winding-up; today JBS spreads around serious news while distorting reality. This behaviour seems to be held by someone that is concerned only about discrediting and disturbing InalcaJBS business, with the sole purpose of destroying a well-established company that looks like an obstacle to JBS development in the same markets.
