CREMONINI GROUP: Alessandro Tedeschi is the new Financial Manager of Cremonini S.p.a.

Alessandro Tedeschi, 44, has been appointed as the Cremonini Group's Financial Manager.

Tedeschi, a graduate in Economics and Commerce at Milan's Bocconi University, has over fifteen years' experience gained in medium and large enterprises in the areas of corporate finance and management, administration and control.

Tedeschi was Administration, Finance and Control Manager over the last seven years of Moby S.p.a., a maritime passengers and goods transport company.

In his professional career, which he commenced with Reconta Ernst & Young (formerly Arthur Young International), he also had various other roles including Planning and Control Manager of Superga S.p.A., Controller of industrial equity investments with the SOPAF Group, and, previously, Controller of Reebok International.

The new Financial Manager will report directly to Vincenzo Cremonini, the Chief Executive Officer, and will be operative with effect from this June.

Cremonini, with over 7,600 employees, is one of the largest food groups in Europe and operates in three business sectors: production, distribution and catering.

The Group, which had total revenues of 2,348.8 million Euro in 2006, is the absolute leader in Italy in the production of beef and meat-based transformed products (Montana) and the marketing and distribution of food products (MARR) to the food service sector. It also has a significant presence in the catering sector and, in particular, the leadership in Italy in on-board train and railway stations catering (Chef Express). Finally the Group is in 2nd place in the Italian motorway catering market.
