As of January 1st, 2019, the Group adopted the new international accounting standard IFRS 16, using the modified retrospective approach, which does not require restatement of comparative data. The Group’s net financial debt (IFRS 16), 1,554.9 million Euro as of December 31st, 2023, has increased due to a Rights of Use liability equal to 421.3 million Euro.
Economic trend of the three sectors
In 2023 the Cremonini Group achieved total consolidated revenues of 5,542.1 million Euro. The gross operating margin (EBITDA) was equal to 479.3 million Euro, the operating result (EBIT) grew to 264.3 million Euro.
The production sector through the subsidiary Inalca in 2023, achieved revenues of 2,990.1 million Euro, an Ebitda of 235.6 million Euro and an Ebit of 152.5 million Euro. In the distribution sector,
In the distribution sector, MARR’s revenues stood at 2,085.5 million, EBITDA and EBIT at 122.9 million and 84.9 million, respectively.
In the catering sector, Chef Express achieved revenues of 779.8 million Euro, an Ebitda of 123.0 million Euro and a positive Ebit equal to 32.0 million Euro.
