Chairman Cremonini S.p.A.
Born from a family of small traders and farmers in 1939, in Savignano sul Panaro, province of Modena, he graduated as an agrarian expert at Bologna and underwent an apprenticeship in a cooperative. In 1963, aged 23, he founded Inalca S.p.A. (National Alimentary Meat Industry), a company specialised in the production of beef, directly managing its growth and international development.
Beginning in the early 80’s, Luigi Cremonini developed the strategic diversification of his business and entered two other sectors of the alimentary market: the distribution to the food service with the acquisition of MARR S.p.A. from Rimini; and modern catering chains, first with the brand Italy&Italy, then successively developing the first Italian fast-food chain, Burghy. The first nucleus of the future Chef Express S.p.A. conglomerate was born.
Appointed in 1985, Cavalier of Labour, by the then President of the Italian Republic Alessandro Pertini, over the years he has received much international acclaim, including in the same year, the prestigious award “Orange de Nassau”, personally bestowed by Queen Beatrix of Holland for the extraordinary work done with operators of her country.
For merits acquired in the livestock agri-business sector, in 1994, he received an Honorary Degree in Veterinary medicine from the University of Bologna.
On 15th October 2009, by initiative of the Italian Foundation and with the participation of the President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, Mr. Cremonini, received from the Italian Ambassador in Moscow, the “Italian Prize in the World 2009” as the best Italian entrepreneur in the world 2009.
Luigi Cremonini founded and was for many years President of Assocarni, the main Italian industry Association in the field of beef producers, member of Confindustria.

Vincenzo Cremonini

Born in Modena on the 18th June 1964, he studied in the U.S.A, obtaining in 1988, his degree in Business Administration at the University of Boston.
Returning to Italy the same year, Vincenzo Cremonini took on the role of Managing Director of Foodservice System Italy S.p.A., the Cremonini Group company that managed the first Italian fast-food restaurant chain, Burghy.
Under his leadership the great success and development of this chain takes place, which in 1996 reaches a total of 96 points of sale located throughout Italy. That same year Burghy was sold to McDonald’s.
Immediately after the sale of Burghy, Mr. Cremonini was appointed C.E.O of Inalca S.p.A., an industry leader in Italy and amongst the principal companies worldwide in the slaughtering and beef transformation sector.
In March 2001, he was appointed CEO of Cremonini S.p.A., a position he still holds today, along with being a Director of MARR S.p.A. and Director of Montana Alimentari S.p.A.
Amongst his first initiatives after becoming the head of Cremonini was the launch of the Roadhouse steakhouse chain, a brand that has now become a holding company of various restaurant formats, with around 300 locations in Italy.
Vincenzo Cremonini was a member of the board and vice president of the Industrial Union of Modena for several years.

Claudia Cremonini
Vice Chairman Cremonini S.p.A.
Born in Castelfranco Emilia, province of Modena, on 11th July 1962, after graduating in Accounting in Italy she studied in the U.S.A. and specialised in Marketing and Communication with a Master’s degree at Boston University. She is married with two children.
In 1985, Claudia Cremonini began her career in the family business as Product Manager of the Frozen Foods Division of Inalca S.p.A., an activity that allowed her to collaborate actively with two important Food multinationals – Findus and Surgela (today Nestlé). In 1991, she was appointed Marketing Manager of Inalca and tasked with following the relaunch of the “Montana” brand.
Alongside her marketing activities, in 1998, concurrent with the Group’s stock market listing, she assumed the role of Communications and External Relations Manager, a position she still holds today.
In 2001, she received the prestigious “Goodwill Ambassador working for peace” award from the association “Together for Peace” chaired by Maria Pia Fanfani.
In 2005, she took part in the stock market listing of MARR S.p.A. following its communication activities. In 2011, she joined the company’s Board of Directors as a director.
The same year, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Modena awarded her the title of “UNICEF Ambassador” for the Cremonini group worldwide.
Since 2015, Mrs. Cremonini coordinates the Group’s Sustainability activities by supervising the Sustainability Reports of the subsidiaries Inalca, Chef Express and MARR.
In 2023, Claudia Cremonini was appointed Vice President of Cremonini S.p.A., the Group’s financial holding company.

Paolo Sciumè
Board member Cremonini S.p.A
Born in Carpi, province of Modena, on 31st January 1943, Supreme Court lawyer and Auditor, Paolo Sciumè is renown as one of the most important Italian experts in corporate law.
After obtaining his diploma in Milan at the Berchet High School and graduating from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Law, he began his professional career at his father’s accountancy firm. He was first Founding Associate, then Founding Partner of the Sciumè – Lawyers and Accountants firm (formerly Sciumé & Associates, Law and Tax Firm) with offices in Milan, Rome, Bologna, Catania and Padua, whose business incorporates around 70 professionals and operates in the corporate, commercial, regulated markets, tax, administrative and non-profit sectors.
His consultancy activity and that of the firm has developed over the years with reference to corporate, commercial and regulated market issues (business access to regulated markets, Antitrust and CONSOB, public/private business dynamics), as well as with local bodies such as Municipalities of Milan, Bologna, Catania, Bergamo and Comiso and numerous Chambers of Commerce.
Mr. Sciumè’s long experience has led him to hold positions on countless boards of directors and boards of auditors, as well as providing crucial consultancy for various mergers, acquisitions and stock market listings.
In parallel, he has developed an extensive activity in the non-profit sector, becoming one of the sector’s leading experts in the legal, administrative, fiscal and operational fields.
Over the years Paolo has also developed an important journalistic activity, which has led him to the publication of numerous essays and manuals, as well as dozens of articles in specialised magazines.

Serafino Cremonini
Board member Cremonini S.p.A
Born in Modena on 8th September 1969, he graduated in accounting in 1988, continuing his studies until he obtained a five-year degree in Business Administration from the University of Modena. Meanwhile Serafino Cremonini initiated his career as an Auditor at Arthur Andersen S.p.A. at the Bologna branch.
On graduation he entered into the family business joining Inalca S.p.A. as assistant to the Livestock Manager, a position he held for four years until March 2001, when he was appointed Office Manager, dealing personally with purchasing negotiations, relations with livestock farmers and helping to determine Inalca’s purchasing strategies.
Since 2006, Mr. Cremonini has been Sole Director of Azienda Agricola Corticella S.r.l., the reference company for Inalca’s breeding activities. From June 2008, he also assumed the position of Commercial Director of Inalca and is also now Vice President of the company.
In 2023, Serafino Cremonini was appointed president of ASSOCARNI, the National Association of Meat and Livestock Trade Industry, and in 2024, he was appointed Board Member of Cremonini S.p.A.

Paolo Lualdi

Born in 1961, he graduated with a degree in Engineering at the Polytechnic of Milan, starting his career in 1988, dealing in structured finance and project financing with Ansaldo Energy (Fimeccanica Group). Subsequently Paolo Lualdi was C.F.O of the De Nora Group, Director of Mediocredito Centrale S.p.A., Director of Administration, Finance and Strategic Planning of Grapes Communication and Director of Guaber S.p.A.
In 2003, he entered the Cremonini Group as C.F.O. of Cremonini S.p.A., where he also managed in 2005, the quotation of the subsidiary MARR on the STAR segment of the Italian Stock Exchange, and remained until 2007. In 2005, moreover, he was nominated Member of the Board of Directors of the Holding Cremonini S.p.A., a position he held till 2008.
In 2007, Mr. Lualdi left the Group, and until 2009, was a Director and C.F.O. of Almaviva S.p.A., where he managed the post-acquisition industrial turnaround of the IT activities ex Telecom Italia (Finsiel).
In 2010, Paolo Lualdi returned to the Cremonini Group where currently he holds the positions of C.F.O. of the Holding company and Member of the Board of Directors of the sub-holding in charge of the catering sector Chef Express S.p.A. and Roadhouse S.p.A.

Giosuè De Nigris
Head of M&A and Management Control of Cremonini S.p.A.
Born in 1973, in Ischia, he moved to Milan for his university studies, where he graduated in Business Administration, Finance Specialisation at the Luigi Bocconi University.
Giosuè De Nigris then started his professional career in the private equity sector, working between 2000 and 2012 for Private Equity Partners and the US hedge fund DB Zwirn Global Advisors.
In 2012, he joined Fondo Strategico Italiano (now CDP Equity), an investment holding company wholly owned by the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti Group. In addition to screening and executing a number of transactions, he was in charge of the financial analysis and business planning of the target companies, monitoring and managing the shareholdings after closing, including extraordinary transactions, also serving as a member of the Board of Directors of a number of investee companies. In seven years, his activities have focused on the agribusiness, distribution, tourism, branded goods, utilities and telecommunications infrastructure sectors.
Since 2019, reporting directly to the CEO, Mr. De Nigris became Head of M&A and Management Control of the Cremonini Group. As part of the Merger & Acquisition activities, he is in charge of origination, screening, structuring and execution of the Group’s transactions.
Giosuè De Nigris is a member of the Board of Directors of the subsidiary Inalca S.p.A.

Paolo Boni
C.E.O. Inalca S.p.A.
Born in 1964, in Modena, he has built his whole professional career in the Cremonini Group, where he was employed in 1982, after his Diploma in Accounting, as an employee of Inalca S.p.A. in the accounting department.
From 1986 to 1988, Paolo Boni was C.E.O. of Icar in Rieti, a subsidiary of Inalca, specialised in the production of canned meat. From 1989, he contributed to the growth of the catering sector of the Group, as Managing Director of Food Service Italy S.p.A., actively involved in Burghy, the first Italian fast-food chain.
From 1991 to 1995, he was Chairman and Managing Director of Agape S.p.A., the company active in the collective catering sector, the first nucleus of what would become the present Chef Express S.p.A.
Since 1995, Mr. Boni is CEO of Inalca S.p.A., with responsibility for Administration, Management and Information control systems, developing the growth of the company in Europe and in the new international markets of Russia and Africa.
From 2022, Paolo Boni also assumed the responsibilities of the Commercial and HR areas.

Mauro Fara
C.E.O. Italia Alimentari S.p.A.
Born in Verona in 1970, he graduated with a degree in Economics and Commerce at the University of Verona and following his initial post-graduate professional experiences, he joined the Cremonini Group in 1997, as Product Manager in Corte Buona S.p.A., a company specialising in cured meats.
Subsequently in 2001, Mauro Fava became CEO of Multiservice S.p.A., a Cremonini company operating in the production of salted, fresh and frozen snacks, which merged into Corte Buona. From 2001 till 2009, he worked in Montana Alimentari S.p.A., the company which at the time combined all the Business Units of Cremonini Group’s production centre operating in consumer markets: he has served as Director of Marketing, Director of Snacks and Frozen Foods Division (formerly Multiservice), and member of the Board of Directors of Salumi d’Emilia S.r.l, a company 100% owned by Montana Alimentari S.p.A.
From 2009 till 2015 he left for Felsineo S.p.A., a company based in Zola Predosa (BO) specialising in the production of cured meats, holding the post of General Manager.
In May 2015, Mauro Fara returned to Cremonini Group, with the position of General Manager of Italia Alimentari, and since April 2016, he assumed the role of CEO.

Augusto Cremonini
C.E.O. Inalca Food & Beverage S.p.A.
Born in Modena in 1976, he graduated in Business Administration at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, with a doctorate in “Sciences of Commercial Enterprise and Food Distribution Market’’.
From 2001 to 2002, he was appointed Foreign Trade Manager of MARR S.p.A., the first Italian foodservice distribution company belonging to Cremonini Group, with the aim to study new business opportunities for developing Marr activities at international level.
From 2002 to 2006, he returned to the family Business and he took the appointment as International Development Manager of Inalca S.p.A., focusing his activity on the new start-up of foreign branches for the food distribution in Africa and Russia.
In 2007, he became General Manager Purchasing & Development department of Inalca S.p.A.
Since 2014, he is President and CEO of Inalca Food&Beverage, a Company controlled by Inalca S.p.A.

Francesco Ospitali
C.E.O. MARR S.p.A.
Born in in 1968, in Bazzano, province of Bologna, he graduated in Economics and Commerce at the University of Bologna beginning his professional career in 1993, in the administration department of Inalca S.p.A.
In 1995, Francesco Ospitali transferred to Ca-Fin (now Cremonini S.p.A.), Holding of the Group where he contributed to the development of the control function of company management.
In 1998, he became responsible for management control of Cremonini S.p.A. and from 2002, also became responsible for tax and auditing matters, following all the extraordinary M&A operations of the Group over the years.
Since 2006, he is a member of the Board of Directors of Chef Express S.p.A., where he was also responsible for management control.
At the beginning of 2014 he was appointed Chief Operating Officer of MARR S.p.A. In April he became part of MARR S.p.A. board of directors and became Chief Executive Officer, with proxies for the commercial and logistics area.
Since 2017 is Chief Executive Officer of MARR S.p.A..
Francesco Ospitali also holds the position of Sole Director of New Catering S.r.l., Chairman of Antonio Verrini S.r.l. and Frigor Carni S.r.l., operating companies controlled by MARR, and Board Member of Jolanda de Colò S.p.A (as of November 2019), a company controlled by MARR S.p.A.

Nicolas Bigard
C.E.O. Chef Express S.p.A. and Roadhouse S.p.A.
Born in Laxou on 14th February 1974, in the Lorena region of France, he studied Law at the University of Nancy and then obtained his Diploma (BTS) in Catering and Hotel Management at the University of Paris.
After an initial experience in the Novotel hotel group, Nicolas Bigard moved to Madrid in 1991, becoming the Spanish CEO of the French steakhouse chain Buffalo Grill, managing the chain’s local development.
In 2003, he returned to Paris as Country Supervisor, with responsibilities for human resources, business management and supervision of area managers. He subsequently took over the direction of the franchising division, managing franchisees in more than 100 locations along with developing new contracts, accelerating the chain’s growth.
In 2005, Mr. Bigard was given the task of developing of the Buffalo Grill branch in Florida and moved to Tampa until 2006, when he returned to Europe to become the COO of Roadhouse Grill, in Modena.
In 2013, Nicolas Bigard became part of the company’s board of directors and in 2014, he was appointed CEO.
Since 2024, he has held the position of CEO of Chef Express S.p.A.
